care: timber is a natural material that will age and wear depending on its use and environment. all Otto pieces are finished in a food grade mineral oil that is safe for kitchen use.
to keep pieces looking fresh and to minimise risk of splitting, we recommend giving them a wipe down with a chopping board oil (available at most hardware stores) every few months. we also recommend keeping them out of direct sunlight as much as possible.
to clean, use warm water and a light detergent. wipe down with a dry cloth as soon as possible. please don't put them in a dishwasher.
